The Experience to Lead: A Resume Judson and Shelly have each lived in East Cobb County for over 20 years. Judson came to Atlanta in the 70's to attend Emory University and Shelly grew up in East Cobb graduating from Lassiter High School. Two of their three children go to Cobb County schools. They have been members of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church for over 15 years and are also involved in ministry at Buckhead Church in Sandy Springs. Senator Hill has been named one of the "100 most influential Georgians" by James Magazine!

SENIOR EVENT MANAGER, PROMISE KEEPERS, INC: Annually produced mega and medium size events attended by over 600,000 people, overseeing 30,000 volunteers and leadership teams, and a $30+ million budget. Organized, developed and executed production and media logistics for over 20 national stadium multi-day conferences.

Led the criminal and civil drug asset forfeiture unit representing the United States' departments in litigation matters before U.S. District Courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal and US Supreme Court. Lectured on asset forfeiture issues and money laundering before local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, and advised the U.S. Department of Justice on pending legislation before the U.S. Congress. Recipient of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate of Appreciation 1990.

Served on White House Advance team and on the logistics team planning the 1984 Republican Convention in Dallas, Texas; and co-directed one of the 50th Presidential Inaugural Balls in 1985.
