Issues that matter to Senator Hill are the very same one's that concern the families of Sandy Springs & East Cobb.
Every time I see my kids playing with other children, I know why I ran for the State Senate. We need effective, conservative leadership to serve, encourage, protect and support our families.
As your State Senator, Judson introduced and worked hard to pass legislation which fulfilled many of his campaign promises. Judson pledges to provide East Cobb and Sandy Springs with effective, conservative leadership.

  Public education has become the chief embarrassment of our state. Our educators are not honored. Performing school systems are overburdened with regulation. Under performing school systems are not given the assistance they need to improve. Attempts at reform are focused more on what bureaucrats and liberal interest groups in Atlanta want than on what is best for our children.
In his freshman term, Judson co-sponsored legislation creating the Georgia Virtual School, which gives all Georgia students access to internet college prep and advanced courses; and The Georgia Master Teacher Program that recognizes teachers who consistently raise test scores. Every child has the right to a world class education.
Senator Hill also supported legislation reducing classroom sizes to help teachers be more effective; and while being fiscally responsible he has consistently supported raising teacher salaries to keep the best teachers in the classroom. Judson Hill is Georgia's Education Senator.

Senator Hill strongly supports our troops. He co-sponsored virtually every Senate bill affecting Georgia's soldiers and their families highlighted by co-sponsoring the Georgia HERO scholarships for families of Georgia's veterans.

Senator Hill signed the Americans for Tax Reform No Tax Increase Pledge. Georgia has a spending problem not a revenue problem. Judson supports a constitutional amendment capping state spending to the previous years budget plus the percentage growth of population combined with inflation. The state should only increase spending above that threshold with a super majority two-thirds vote of the General Assembly. In 2006, Judson sponsored Senate Resolution 642, an initiative to keep that promise to Georgians. Senator Hill joins Governor Sonny Purdue's New Georgia initiative which brings greater fiscal responsibility to state government. Georgia's tax code should be fair, flat and efficient. Judson Hill is a common sense, conservative leader in the fight for tax reform.

We won! Senator Hill was excited to introduce this legislation on the floor of the Senate and to lead the charge delivering on his promise to the people of Sandy Springs. On December 1, 2005, Sandy Springs became the 7th largest city in Georgia. Senator Hill remains very involved in the development of the new city of Sandy Springs and his humbled and honored to represent this new municipality.

Judson is championing the fight to protect our children from the dangers found on the internet, the dangers of drugs and dangerous sexual predators.
Judson co-sponsored the Georgia Slam Spam E-mail Act making it a felony to send numerous "spam" to families wanting to protect their children as well as sponsored legislation penalizing those who send pornographic e-mail to our children [ADV:ADLT - SB 541].
Judson sponsored the nation's toughest sexual predator legislation and championed its passage in 2006 to stiffen penalties for convicted sexual molesters, requiring lifetime registration and electronic monitoring.

Judson Hill will never waiver on the values that matter to our families. He will always vote to support our families and support the values that make us proud and have made America strong. In 2005, Judson co-sponsored the Women's Right to Know Act and Governor Purdue's Faith Based Initiative.
